Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag says their humbling at Manchester City was a "reality check".
Ten Hag was speaking at today's Europa League presser for their clash with Omonia.
He said, "Obviously it was a difficult game [defeat to Manchester City] and as always, we analysed it. It was a reality check, we have to learn from it and carry on.
"We can get a lot of confidence when you beat Arsenal and Liverpool, now we get a reality check with Manchester City.
"We know we have to step up, so thank you for the lesson Pep [Guardiola] and City, we will take that, we have to understand."
