Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag was pushed for news about Rasmus Hojlund yesterday.
United have had an offer rising to 85m accepted by Atalanta for the Denmark striker.
Ten Hag said: "I'm sorry, but I can't talk about players who are not under contract at Manchester United.
"We have to complete something, and then you are welcome to ask the question again."
However, Ten Hag was further pushed for news later in the media conference.
"Unfortunately, I cannot say anything about him. I have worked in football for a long time and I know that we need a transfer first.
"That's why we have to keep calm and let the professionals do their job."
