Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag blocked his players from wearing their club-sponsored suits at the Carabao Cup final.

The Red Devils coach was concerned about how much time the players would take to change to and from their suits.

Per The Sun, the United players went with the regular attire they would wear to walk around the pitch and eventually start their warmups.

The source does add that many were surprised at the decision, given Paul Smith is a sponsor of the club.

The suit maker brand may not be pleased at United choosing not to wear those suits for the matchday.

However, the club did win the Carabao Cup on Sunday against Newcastle, which would have justified Erik ten Hag's decision.
