Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag insists Luke Shaw is incapable of ever playing a full season.

Ten Hag says the fullback is suffering due to an early career injury.

The England fullback has missed much of this season.

Ten Hag told VI: Luke is the best left-back in the world.

"But he suffered a terrible injury early in his career and because of this he will never be able to play 60 games in a season."

In the 2023/24 season, the 28-year-old Englishman played 15 matches in which he scored an assist.
