Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is confident that he can convince Mason Mount to sign for the club.

The Chelsea attacking midfielder has only one year remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge.

With contract talks at a standstill, Mount is set to leave the club this summer.

Per The Telegraph, the 24-year-old is emerging as a key option for United this summer.

The Red Devils believe Mount can ease the offensive burden on their midfielders, while adding more of the pressing and tenacity that Ten Hag demands from his players.

Chelsea are said to want around 85 million for their homegrown superstar.

However, United are going to bid in the range of 55 million, given Mount's contract situation.
