Manchester United have made a late market approach to Everton for Anthony Gordon.
The Athletic reports United have looked into a late move for Gordon.
The winger scored the only goal of the game when Frank Lampard's side beat United back in April, and got his first goal of the current season against Brentford on Saturday.
United enquired about the ability of the youngster, who has also been on Chelsea's radar. The England under-21 star was subject of a bid from the Blues earlier in the window, with Everton saying no.
Chelsea had been expected to return with an improved bid in the region of £50m plus add-ons. However, with Wilfried Zaha also emerging as a target for the London side, it's possible that Gordon stays at Everton.
