Manchester United are planning crunch talks regarding a major decision they have to make in the summer.

The Red Devils have new management in the form of investor Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his INEOS group.

Per The Athletic, United football director John Murtough held discussions with Mason Greenwood's dad over two weeks ago.

The striker's future is up for debate, as his loan spell at Getafe ends at the conclusion of this season.

There are likely to be bidders for Greenwood, given most United fans are eager to see him leave.

The forward has not played for United since he was arrested back in January 2022.
