Manchester United football director John Murtough and their transfer negotiator are said to have met with Real Madrid.

The Red Devils are expecting to have a busy summer window, both in terms of incomings and outgoings.

Per ESPN, Murtough and Matt Hargreaves were in Spain to meet with several teams.

They had meetings with Real, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Getafe in recent day.

While the specific reason for the meetings is unclear, there is a suggestion that it may have to do with Mason Greenwood.

United are eager to sell him for a reasonable fee, as that will let them plan their own moves.
