Sam Williams has joined Manchester United.
Williams has left Ipswich Town to become United's new lead scout focusing on spotting players aged between 17 and 21.
United say he will target "high-potential talent", with the aim of those players joining the club's development programme.
Williams is a former United analyst and was recruited by United's director of academy Nick Cox and director of scouting Steve Brown.
Cox is performing a major overhaul of his staff.
