Manchester United have granted Lisandro Martinez to continue his injury recovery in Argentina.
Martinez's season is over due to a metatarsal injury.
United manager Erik ten Hag has granted the 25-year old permission to have a week in his home city of Gualegay. Lisandro will have time to visit family while he continues his rehab.
The defender caught up with old friends at his former club Defensa y Justicia in Buenos Aires who laid on a tribute in recognition of his World Cup triumph with Argentina, reports the Daily Mail.
He will return to Manchester next week.
