Manchester United are emerging as a January option for Antoine Griezmann.
On-loan with Atletico Madrid from Barcelona, the striker is at the centre of a dispute over the cost of his permanent option. Barca have been insisting on the original €45m, while Atletico are pushing to drop the price to €20m.
With talks at deadlock, Griezmann finds himself in limbo - though his first choice is to remain in Madrid.
Meanwhile, the Athletic says United are interested should Cristiano Ronaldo force through a January exit. Griezmann has long been a target for United's heirarchy.
The striker started yesterday's derby defeat against Real Madrid.
