Manchester United expect Christian Eriksen to take his place as their second signing of the summer in the coming week.
The Red Devils are closing in on the free transfer signing of the Danish international, who is only 30.
Eriksen was out of contract this summer after his short-term deal with Brentford expired.
According to the Manchester Evening News, United have a verbal agreement with Eriksen.
The Dane will put pen to paper on a contract this week after completing a rigorous medical, due to his heart condition that caused a cardiac arrest during a Euro 2020 game last summer.
United are also chasing Lisandro Martinez from Ajax and Frenkie de Jong of Barcelona.
