Manchester United are eyeing Borussia Monchengladbach goalkeeper Yann Sommer.
United see Sommer as ideal cover for David de Gea after deciding Dean Henderson, now on-loan at Nottingham Forest, won't play for the club again.
Swiss reporter Andreas Böni is stating Sommer is one of the three options that United are considering.
Sommer is also still wanted by Gladbach which are offering the 33 year-old a new deal to 2025.
The sticking point for Sommer is that he would join United with no guarantee of first team football, whereas at Gladbach he is their outright No1.
