Manchester United was keen to prise Benjamin Pavard away from Bayern Munich this summer.
Telefoot says United looked into the possibility of signing France right-back Pavard in the summer.
The Red Devils want to bring in the Bayern Munich star as competition for Diogo Dalot.
However, after they struggled to sell Aaron Wan-Bissaka they dropped their interest.
Pavard remains with Bayern this season.
