Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana insists there's no issues with Harry Maguire.

Onana has been criticised by pundits after an on-field exchange with Maguire in preseason.

But at yesterday's Champions League presser in Munich, Onana said: "Harry's a very good guy, I have a good relationship with him, I spoke to him this morning before we took off," said Onana.

"What happened there was done straight after the game. I don't think we have to give too much to what happened, we are big guys and what happened on the pitch stays on the pitch, we have a good relationship.

"I'm a very passionate player, I demand a lot of my defenders. We are in this together, being part of a big club is something great.

"Manchester United is huge, I'm happy to be here. Replacing David isn't something easy, the start of the season is not what we want. It will come, I'm very confident.

"We all have to step up. We didn't start well but I'm confident we'll get it right. When I see how we're working I'm confident and excited."

On being away from United with Cameroon for the African Cup of Nations in January, Onana added: "If I'm called up, we don't know if I will, let's see what is going to happen in the next month.

"We are here to play against Bayern, it's an important game for us and the most important thing."
