Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana did not play his nation's first African Cup of Nations game.

Onana played for United in the Premier League against Tottenham in a 2-2 draw on Sunday.

While he had aimed to play a day later for Cameroon, he was not in the squad for their draw against Guinea.

The Manchester Evening News reported that Onana had plane trouble, with his jet not able to reach the destination due to fog.

Sports Vibes said that Onana attempted to get to the stadium by car, but was still not able to do so.

Cameroon coach Rigobert Song would have been disappointed to not be able to call on his no.1 shot stopper.
