Manchester United talent James Nolan has signed his first professional contract with the club.
The 17-year-old has been with the club's academy for many years, having joined as a child.
The Chorley-born youth star is one who manager Erik ten Hag is said to rate very highly.
United's manager has been heavily involved in all decisions about youth contracts.
Nolan wrote on social media: "Amazing feeling to sign my first professional contract with the club I've been with my whole life. Thank you to all my family and coaches who have made the dream possible."
The teenager plays most naturally as a right-back, while he can also fill in across the field.
