Manchester UnitedPaul Scholes has walked back criticism of Antony after his performance in victory at Everton on Sunday.
Scholes branded the Brazilian winger a "one-trick pony" after their Europa League match on Thursday - only for the 22-year-old to score against the Toffees three days later.
An Instagram user highlighted the 47-year-old's controversial comment, alongside a picture of Antony celebrating his goal.
On Monday, Scholes reposted that post, adding the caption "Whoops!"
Manchester United now host Omonia in the reverse fixture on Thursday, before welcoming Newcastle United to Old Trafford next Sunday.
