Manchester United have made contact with Atletico Madrid regarding Joao Felix.
The Portuguese forward had a largely forgetful loan spell during the second half of last season at Chelsea.
Felix did score in a Premier League game against United, while scoring for Atletico against them a season prior.
Per Spanish publication ABC, United are assessing the 23-year-old as a summer transfer option.
United only have Anthony Martial up front, while they are looking at Ramsus Hojlund from Atalanta.
Felix may be available for a lower than expected fee, as he is out of favor with Atleti boss Diego Simeone.
