The Red Devils are chasing two Ajax stars at present – Lisandro Martinez and Antony.
However, The Mirror claims that Ajax are not desperate for money this summer, as they are in the Champions League and will sell striker Sebastian Haller to Borussia Dortmund.
The source states that while United want both defender Martinez and winger Antony, they may have to settle for one.
Ajax may be willing to let one of the two leave, but would want an extremely high bid for each player to convince them to sell both.
United are operating on a limited transfer budget this summer, while they are also chasing Barcelona star Frenkie de Jong.
