Manchester United midfielder Casemiro will accept a wage cut if they fail to finish in the top four this season.
The Brazil star, 30, joined the Red Devils for £70million last month, ending a trophy-laden spell at Real Madrid.
Casemiro was keen for a new challenge and reportedly doubled his wages to £350,000-a-week after joining United.
However, it has since been claimed the midfielder hasn't seen that much of an increase to what he was being paid at Real.
The Athletic says Casemiro signed for United with a "slight raise" in wages from what he was on at the Bernabeu.
But Casemiro will see his wages decrease IF United fail to qualify for the Champions League this season.
