Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen says he's ready to hit the training pitch.
Eriksen struck up an impressive partnership with fellow new signing Casemiro but was ruled out of action in January after suffering an amkle injury against Reading in the FA Cup.
As a result, the former Tottenham star missed United's Carabao Cup final win over Newcastle at Wembley but could return for his team's run-in.
Erik ten Hag had hinted 31-year-old would be in line to return in April and, speaking to the club's official website, revealed the latest on his comeback trail.
Yeah, it is going well. I have just started being outside as you saw [on Instagram] with football boots on," he said.
And then we take it from there, that is the next step. I have been in the gym for some weeks now and now it is time to do the next rehab session outside."
