Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen was grateful to Tottenham fans last night.
Eriksen was back at Tottenham for the first time since he left the club in 2020.
The Dane received a great reception from the home support and said afterwards: "It was touching. It was special to be back because it was the first time since I left the club.
"It was great that they could remember me and that they welcomed me, but then the match is another part.
"We definitely should have won that match. I think that for large periods in the first half we have control of the game.
"I think we are in good shape as a team. We're in a final and we've already won a final so those things are okay really.
"The last few games we have been okay with, and we have played okay once in a while, but we just need to pull it over the line.
"It's the same today, when we have the match where we have to have it, but that we don't secure the victory."
