Manchester United midfielder Charlie Savage is preparing to join Forest Green Rovers.
Savage - who is expected to sign for Forest Green Rovers on loan from United - will work under Everton hero Duncan Ferguson after he replaced the recently-departed Ian Burchnall in the hot-seat.
The 19-year-old midfielder made his first-team debut in the Champions League last season and has featured regularly for United's under-21s side.
Forest Green currently sit bottom of the League One table having won just five matches all season.
