Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo admits he follows the game of Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk.
Todibo is being linked with Newcastle and Manchester United ahead of the January market.
The 23 year-old told Canal+: "I like to defend one on one, that's how I grew up.
"But when I was young I was a midfielder and I was very inspired by (Andrea) Pirlo and (Adrien) Rabiot.
"Now I watch Van Dijk a lot. I really like his leadership and his quality when he comes out with the ball."
