Manchester United have opened talks with Bologna for Josh Zirkzee.
The young Dutchman has hit a rich seam of goalscoring form this season and is attracting interest from across Europe.
Sportitalia says United are now in contact with Bologna for the centre-forward.
Zirkzee, formerly of Bayern Munich, has eight goals and four assists this season under Bologna coach Thiago Motta.
Bologna are seeking 50m to sell, knowing Arsenal are also keen.
