Manchester United stars asked for a day of rest after they were beaten in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Red Devils went down 2-1 to Fulham at home in the league, giving up a goal in injury time.

After the game, The Guardian states that many players complained to Erik ten Hag's coaching staff.

They were unhappy after being denied a day off following their loss to the Cottagers.

The outlet added that United's players were told in no uncertain terms that their request was denied.

They were told to get on with their jobs and to report back for training on Sunday.
