Manchester United midfielder Casemiro is making it a priority to learn English.
The signing from Real Madrid says knowing the local language is important.
Casemiro said," My wife speaks English, and my seven-year-old daughter and one-year-old son almost speak better English than me. I really apologise to the fans that I don't know the language, but I intend to take lessons and learn it as soon as possible.
"I want to learn and understand the English culture, and of course I also want to be able to talk to my friends, teammates and the coaching staff.
"It means a lot to me that they can see that I want to be part of the group."
