Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo has sent a message to the club's supporters after his appearance against Rayo Vallecano.
The Portuguese veteran made his first start of pre-season, having been absent from the group due to family issues.
Ronaldo was involved for only 45 minutes against Rayo in a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford on Sunday.
He came off at half-time, and was pictured by fans on social media leaving the stadium around 10 minutes before the game had finished.
Taking to his Instagram account, Ronaldo posted a picture of himself involved in the clash with the caption: "Happy to be back."
Ronaldo is still the subject of transfer speculation, as he wants to play for a team in the Champions League.
