Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo took a massive bonus just days before demanding a transfer.
United officials say Ronaldo the bonus was triggered as soon as the second year of his contract kicked in at the end of June.
An Old Trafford insider told The Sun: “The contracts all renew at the start of July and then the news about Cristiano wanting to leave came out."
