Fiorentina star Sofyan Amrabat has gone AWOL from the club's preseason training camp.
The Moroccan was not on the team's flight to Belgrade as they get ready to take on Red Star Belgrade.
Media reports in Italy have stated that Amrabat is close to sealing a 21 million deal with Manchester United.
However, Gazzetta dello Sport indicates he may not have been given permission to skip a preseason game.
The midfielder, who shone with his nation at the World Cup in Qatar last winter, wants to move to the Premier League.
Aside from United, he has also been linked to Atletico Madrid over the past few months.
