Manchester United want to hire Southampton director of football Jason Wilcox.
The Red Devils have already made an approach to Newcastle United for Dan Ashworth.
They are set to prize the Magpies' sporting director away from the club in the coming weeks.
Now The Athletic's David Ornstein states that he may be followed by Wilcox from the Saints.
While Wilcox would not have the same job if he moves to Man United, he is reportedly eager to make the move.
