Manchester United are making an opening offer for Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount.
Mount's minders have agreed personal terms with United and approved the move.
The Telegraph says United will offer 50m for Mount later this month.
They feel that this is a fair price for the England international, given he has a year to run on his Blues deal.
Chelsea have been seeking 60-70m, but knowing Mount's opinion there's a confidence they will accept the compromise.
The Londoners also need to sell to ease Financial Fair Play concerns.
