Manchester United Treble winner Dwight Yorke says questions must be asked of manager Erik ten Hag.
United are out of Europe after their Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich.
Yorke told BBC Sport: "I want to give [Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag] the benefit of the doubt. And I think it is fair to say that from what he had last season [that] he bought himself some time. This year hasn't really materialised [as] I thought [it could] as a team. And part of the coaching philosophy - and I am in that department now - is to improve players and improve the team.
"I think the players that he's brought in haven't moved the needle.
"I think as a manager some things that he has done are questionable. And so, with all that said and done, you can only give him until the end of the season or towards the end of the season to see if he can turn it around.
"There are some question marks there still to be answered in my opinion."
