Manchester United took youngster Christopher Atherton on a trial basis last week.
The talented 13 year old, who is the youngest to ever play a professional game in Britain, played for the club's under-15 team.
Atherton made his senior debut with Northern Irish league club Glenavon aged just 13.
United haven't made a decision about whether or not to hold onto Atherton for a longer period.
He will get a trial that typically lasts for two to four weeks before a decision is made.
He played against Burnley's under-15s, according to a Manchester United Youth fan account on Instagram.
