Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo has apologised for a goal celebration.

Mainoo scored against Liverpool in the Premier League to make it 2-1 for his team.

However, his team could only draw the game, with the Reds netting a penalty through Mo Salah to make it 2-2.

On cupping his hands to the away Liverpool fans, the teen said: Yeah, it felt good so I got ahead of myself, sorry.

An unbelievable feeling, my first professional goal at Old Trafford, and to do it in this fixture is also amazing.

At the end of the day, we don't walk away with the three points so I can't be too happy."
