Manchester United winger Antony was shown a yellow card after a rash challenge on Alexis Mac Allister of Brighton.
The Red Devils attacker was involved in a mini tussle with the Argentine and had to be held back by teammate Fred.
Antony was lucky to get away with only a caution, as United lost 1-0 away from home on Thursday.
Pundit and commentator Alan Smith called Antony lucky and said the foul was stupid."
He added: He decides to take out his frustration with a swing, stupid. If it was higher it would have been a red."
Lewis Dunk also got a yellow for confronting Antony after his foul.
