Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho has had the last laugh over his Aston Villa counterpart Leon Bailey last week.
Bailey warned Sancho pre-match that his Villa team would not let United have an easy time at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Instead, United went on to win the game 1-0 thanks to a Bruno Fernandes goal.
Sancho had taken to Instagram in the wake of United drawing 2-2 with Tottenham to say they would bounce back next game, to which Bailey replied: "Let's see about making things right", alongside a laughing face emoji.
Sancho then waited until after the two sides met, United had won, and then posted the eyes emoji in response to Bailey's post.
The result puts United in a good position to secure the top four and Champions League football.
