Traffic cameras caught the moment a motorbike rider was left seriously injured after being ploughed into by a man driving the wrong way up the M1.
Driver Keith Muromba, 32, was jailed for three years at St Albans Crown Court last month after the 46-year-old rider was left with life-changing injuries including a broken neck and dissected artery.
Footage of the incident shows a white van colliding head on with the motorbike and a BMW at high speed, causing extensive damage to all three vehicles.
Muromba, who Hertfordshire Police say had been under the influence of alcohol and cocaine, plead guilty to causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving while unfit through drugs, failing to provide a specimen for analysis and having no insurance.
