MANILA, Philippines—Manila Mayor Isko Moreno on Monday signed Executive Order (EO) 8, mandating a 4-day work week for city hall employees.

In his Facebook live address, Moreno said that on-site work would be from Monday to Thursday under two schedules: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. There is no office work on Friday.

He clarified that essential and frontline workers were exempted from the order.
