MANILA, Philippines—The Manila Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 30 has granted the petition for bail to former Negros Oriental 3rd District representative Arnolfo Teves in connection with the alleged killing of Pacito Libron in 2019.
In a 27-page resolution released Friday, the RTC set the bail for Teves at P500,000.
“Since the prosecution failed to establish conspiracy with positive and conclusive evidence, necessarily, the act of accused Richard Cuadra in allegedly shooting and killing Pacito Libron cannot be attributed to co-accused Rolando Pinili and Arnolfo Teves, Jr.,” the resolution reads.
