TAWAU: Deputy Head of Sabah DAPSY, Philip Yap Wui Lip, urged the people here to take precautions and consume clean food and drinks following several cases of suspected food poisoning reported through social media recently.

Yap and the DAP service team also received complaints from several families who felt unwell and experienced symptoms such as stomach ache, diarrhoea and vomiting.

Yap visited several clinics in Tawau, Tuesday, and found that at least 40 patients who came for treatment had the same symptoms of food poisoning.
