
PITAS: Mara is committed to uplift the entrepreneurship sector of the rural community through various initiatives.
Its Chairperson Datuk Seri Azizah Mohd Dun said Mara’s focus in developing the State’s entrepreneurship sector had benefited 3,843 entrepreneurs, through facilities involving training, certification, digitisation, business financing and premises rental.
“This involves an allocation of RM100.95 million and Sabah Mara has also approved RM98.470 million involving various Mara financing facility schemes such as Spike Contract Financing, Spim and Dananita Scheme which have benefited 1,121 entrepreneurs in Sabah,” she said when officiating the Pitas Rural Business Building Outreach Programme, here, Wednesday.
