Marcos appoints Cuna as DENR chief, Lotilla as envoy to Holy See

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has appointed Environment Undersecretary Juan Miguel Cuna as acting secretary of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Malacañang announced Friday.

Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said Cuna would replace Raphael Lotilla who would serve as the Philippine Ambassador to the Holy See.

Cuna, who is a cousin of former Senate president Juan Miguel Zubiri, is a lawyer and a former Manila city councilor.
