MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. eyes all-Filipino electric tricycle and electric jeepney production by shiftinglocal transport production toward cleaner energy solutions.
During his visit at the MD Juan Enterprises, Inc. in Caloocan City on Tuesday, Marcos said he wantedto help the local manufacturing industry and find out what the government can do to further increase the company's production.
“The reason we are here now is to assess what needs to be done so that they will be capable of fabricating all-Filipino electric tricycles and electric jeepneys, should the need arise," said Marcos in Filipino.
