MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Wednesday said he would sign into law a bill granting him the power to suspend or reduce excise tax on fuel products within the day.

Speaking to reporters in Malacañang, Marcos said he was still determining the right time to use the power.

"By the end of the day I will be signing that law already," Marcos said during a press conference.
