Marcus Tavernier is delighted with his new new deal at Bournemouth.
The winger has penned terms to 2027.
Tavernier told afcbTV: I knew even if this didn't come around, my plans and ambitions were to do well at this club.
Luckily enough so far we have done, defeating all the people that told us we weren't going to do so well.
It's been an amazing season.
"It couldn't have gone any better on a personal and a team level, in the sense of the season, so I'm delighted for what has happened so far."
He added: I got my dream to play in this league and that's what I came here to do, to play against the best players in the world and to challenge myself.
This club gave me that platform and I'm forever thankful for that. I just want to continue to build on that and help take this club higher up."
