
LAHAD DATU: The Marine Police Force (MPF) foiled an attempt to misappropriate six tonnes of crude palm oil (CPO) during an operation at a premises along Jalan POIC on Thursday.
Sabah Region Four MPF Commander ACP Nazri Ibrahim said the seized CPO, discovered during a 3.50pm raid, was estimated to be worth RM114,800.
Two local men, aged 30 and 43, were caught in the act of transferring the CPO from a tank into barrels on a lorry.
