Mark Ruffalo has urged Americans to vote and defend voting rights, sharply criticising Donald Trump ahead of the midterm elections.
The actor invoked his Marvel character at a Hands Off Our Vote event on Sunday (4 October), warning the US president, “I’m gonna Hulk out. You won't like me when I'm angry”.
“I’m still playing the Hulk. Don't be scared,” Ruffalo said. “They want to keep us afraid. Their only weapon is our fear”.
He called for voters to make Trump a "lame duck" and remain engaged through January to ensure elected representatives take their seats.
