Martin Lewis has issued an urgent message to people worried about Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit “changes”.
The government has revealed proposals to axe payments for PIP and introduce different eligibility and assessment criteria, amid a benefits crackdown by the Conservatives.
Speaking on his Martin Liews Money Podcast, released on 1 May, the financial guru said: “I want to say something to the people with mental health conditions that have got in touch with me worried and panicked about the government news on possible benefits changes.
“Nothing has happened.”
